Hedwig Verdonk

After studying music, psychology and philosophy at university in Belgium, Hedwig came to London in 1983 to study at the European School of Osteopathy. After qualifying she undertook further postgraduate study in the US, the UK and other European countries in matters concerning paediatrics, musculo-skeletal challenges, learning problems, dental concerns, neurology, trauma, heart and circulation.


Hedwig has extensive teaching experience and has taught at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels at the European School of Osteopathy, the British College of Osteopathic Medicine, and Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy.

A volunteer for six years with the ground-breaking Osteopathic Centre for Children http://occ.uk.com/, founded in 1991, Hedwig has always had an interest in treating children and their families. She is also passionate about relieving pain and past traumatic conditions as well as easing emotional difficulties.


She set up the Tufnell Park Osteopaths in 1998 and has been serving the community here ever since.
